Vogue #6 (NYFW SS18)

Image

The denim jacket

Image
It's been a long time since I wanted to have a nice denim jacket. Like the Gucci ones: embroided, well adjusted and short. But, as I don't have the budget to have a Gucci jacket, I decided to give up. For my birthday, my parents bought me one... wait! Not from Gucci but from Maje. It is gorgeous, I love it!! It is embroided (as I wanted), short (as I wanted) and well adjusted (as I wanted): better than a Gucci one!! Here, I wore it with a white dress (which I got from Sandro, from my birthday too). It's quite short and it fits me perfectly. I put my embroided sandals to add a touch of pop. Enjoy!

Today calls for a new outfit! This one is the before-last of Italy and summer. I also have something important to tell you: as you know, I am in a hospitality management school, and I have to wear classical outfits, that's why I created this blog. Unfortunately, my school decided that every pupils will have to wear uniforms. SO... my outfits will be more and more rare. I am not sure about my blog's future because without outfits, it doesn't have any reason to exist.
I've been thinking about it and I decided that my outfits will be available only on Instagram. You will find here some outfits for special occasions, aka Christmas. So don't forget to follow me on Instagram: @ootdsandlifestyle
Let's talk about this outfit now!
I wore a lot these shorts when I was in Italy. These ones and the denim ones were my must-haves this summer. I put it with my "Feminist" T-shirt, my "jewel" sandals and my white bag. I love this outfit because I think it l…

Transformed into a Medici girl (travel guide #2)

Image
I left Bellaria on the 12th August to arrive in Florence by bus. It was the first time that I was traveling with Flixbus and it was good: cheap and comfortable (even if their WiFi isn't perfect). Three hours later, I arrived in the Medici city. I slept in the "Hotel Medici", Via Dei Medici. I paid 70€ for the two nights. Not expensive at all even more when you know that it was at only 2 minutes away from the Duomo!!
Where to eat?
The good thing about Italy is that you can eat for less than 20€! On the first evening, I ate two pieces of pizza and a half liter of water. Total: 9.70€. Next to the Duomo and it was very good: the pizza was made with focaccia and not with usual pizza dough. Go check it out: Black Bar, Via Calzaiuoli. Another good adress to eat: the Eataly of Florence. If you don't know Eataly, it's a restaurant/shop chain in Italy: they have excellent Italian food you can buy and, also, eat in their restaurants. I ate there twice: one for dinner and …

As you may know, I spent four months in Bellaria Igea Marina, Emilia Romagna, Italy, for my internship. I think that four months might be enough to share with you my best places.

What to do in Bellaria Igea Marina?

First of all, you have to know that Bellaria and Igea Marina are two different cities. I stayed in Bellaria. It's a little seaside resort which looks like (if you know), Port-Bacarès in the south of France: there's a lot to do from mid-June to August but it's a "ghost town" the rest of the year. Just like in Spain, the shops are closed from 12.30 to 3.30/4pm, and close again from 6pm to 8/9 until midnight. So, as you can imagine, the only place to go in the afternoon is the beach. The beach! Let's talk about it! I was used to the French free beaches, but in Italy, you have to pay about 15€ an hour if you want to tan (at the beach Playa del Sol). On the shore, there's thousands of small boats and others attractions to go in the water: forget the…
